Corina Naus - General Manager - Dip.Bus., Dip.HR

I am an advocate for early childhood education and have been involved within the ECE sector in Marlborough for the past 23 years; I strongly believe that high quality, affordable and accessible early childhood education should be available for all children.

I have a passion for communication. I believe good communication involves active listening, reflection, considering the other participants point of view and mutual respect. As a leader I strive to create a culture of trust in which innovation can flourish.

He aha te kai ō te rangatira? He kōrero, he kōrero, he kōrero

What is food of the leader? It is knowledge. It is communication

Gwenda Jones - Senior Teacher – NZFKTU Diploma

I believe my role as Senior teacher is to ensure that the Kindergartens in Marlborough provide quality education. I believe that through professional leadership and direction Kindergarten teams are inspired, motivated and supported to continually improve the quality of teaching and learning. It is vital that the teaching staff are happy and effective in their work, showing positive progress and development through the use of appraisal and self-review systems. I believe that building collaborative and respectful teaching team relationships is essential for the effectiveness of the Kindergarten management. I ensure that Programme Planning meets the observed needs of the children, reflects the philosophy of the Kindergarten, complies with Te Whāriki and ensures a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Wendy Logan - Management Consultant - BCom.Accounting

I have been involved in Kindergarten for over 25 years firstly, as a parent and committee member, then as an Association and NZK Board member and as Nelson Association Chief Executive Officer.

I am passionate about supporting Kindergartens, so that each individual Kindergarten can provide children with excellent early childhood education. I believe that the keys to providing excellent early childhood education are quality child interactions provided by registered teachers, who have regular professional development and well resourced Kindergarten environments.
